Does Imprimis charge a fee for temporary or full-time job placement services?
No. There are never applicant fees for our services. Our costs are covered through billing of clients.

Does Imprimis only offer temporary positions?
No. Imprimis offers full-time placement services in addition to temporary services. Be sure to tell us if you are looking for both, as different recruiters manage different staffing categories.

Are most temporary positions only for entry-level jobs?
No. While temporary and contract jobs in the past have been more focused on administrative functions, they now encompass a wide variety of jobs, skill levels and companies.

Does Imprimis hire employees from outside the U.S.?
Unless otherwise indicated on the Imprimis job posting, you must have current legal authorization to work in the United States. Please consult the U.S. Embassy in your country of residence for further information on obtaining U.S. work authorization.

Is the average temporary assignment 40 hours per week?
Typical hours worked each week will vary, so we cannot guarantee a traditional 40-hour week. However, our main goal is to keep you working consistently.

Can temporary services be used as references for future employment?
Yes. Imprimis will provide references for future employment. Plus, temporary work provides broad and varied experience and opportunities across different companies and industries.

Are temporary services used as references viewed as negative on a resume?
No. In today's modern business climate, references from temporary work are just as viable as those from full-time positions. And, because we receive evaluations from all the companies you work for, we're able to provide even stronger references than a single employer.

What kind of benefits can I expect to receive from Imprimis?
We try hard to keep good employees around. That's why we offer comprehensive benefits packages for qualified temporary and contract employees, including: vacation pay, medical benefits, 401K, Skills Enhancement Programs, referral bonuses and industry-competitive pay.

Do associates have to work a set period of time before qualifying for benefits?
Yes. Though associates may qualify for some benefits immediately, most benefits require a grace period before they are available.

Do temporary or contract workers get any paid vacation?
Imprimis offers vacation benefits and paid holidays for temporary associates. Eligibility is based on hours accrued.

Does Imprimis only work with small-to-medium-sized companies?
No. We work with all sizes of companies, including many of the largest and most respected corporations in the world. We aim to place applicants in the size of company and type of environment they prefer.

Will Imprimis put me on its payroll and withhold taxes while I'm on an assignment?
Yes. We provide paychecks on a weekly basis. Taxes withheld are determined by the number of exemptions claimed on your W-4. (A form you complete and file when you are hired.)

When I work for Imprimis, who is my employer?
Imprimis. Your paycheck and benefits will come from Imprimis. If you have any questions about your assignment, your paycheck or any other situation that may impact your work, your supervisor at Imprimis will assist you.

After applying with Imprimis, how long will it take before I actually get a job or an assignment?
The time it takes to be placed depends on your skills and the skills needed by our clients. Sometimes, we can offer assignments immediately following an interview.

What kind of assignments will Imprimis make available to me?
A variety of work choices are available to meet your individual needs, including: short-term and long-term contract assignments, summer and holiday work, full-time/direct-hire employment, employment between permanent jobs and temp to full-time opportunities.

When do I need to turn in my timesheets?
All timesheets for the previous week's work must be received by 5:30 p.m. each Monday to the payroll department.

Can I fax my timesheet after working hours and on weekends?
Yes, you can fax you timesheets to the office, but they must be received by Monday at 5:30 P.M.

Can I pick up my paycheck?
Yes. Imprimis has several locations for paycheck pickup. To have your paycheck delivered to one of our locations, you must indicate the location number at the top of your timesheet. Checks are available for pick up between 12 noon and 6 p.m. on Thursday. Any checks not picked up by 6 p.m. will be put in the mail on Thursday night.
