Payscale marks the average salary for an entry level customer service representative to start at $28,000, a mid-career level representative to start at $30,000, and an experienced representative to start at $32,000 per year. The average hourly wage for a customer service representative at all levels is $13.01 an hour.

Average salaries for entry level customer service managers start at $40,000, mid-career managers start at $48,000, and experienced managers start at $53,000. The cumulative average is $51,000.
