Valerie Freeman, CEO selected as a Finalist for the TECH Titan Awards
Valerie Freeman, founder and CEO of BravoTECH, Imprimis Group, and Freeman+Leonard, will be honored August 27th by the Metroplex Technology Business Council as a finalist for the Tech Titan Award in the Corporate CEO category for exceptional performance and strong accomplishments in the technical industry. The Awards Gala will be held at the Renaissance Hotel Dallas-Richardson.

Akilah Tyson Ferguson, Supplier Diversity Manager for Ericsson Inc., started her career at a young age working as an Intern for Imprimis Group while she was still in high school. A Month of Shows, Meetings and Conferences
April was a busy month for networking. Recently, Imprimis had the opportunity to sponsor, host and attend many trade shows, meetings and conferences. We had the opportunity to be a Breakfast Sponsor at the Southwest Women’s Business Works Annual Conference and Trade Show, and a Gold Sponsor at the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce Human Resources Conference where Valerie Freeman, CEO, was also the Program Moderator. Also in April, Imprimis Corporate Office also became the host location to the monthly meeting of the National African American Human Resources Organization.
Valerie was also a panelist on the Women in the Board Room Program and the Leadership/Management Section of the Dallas Paralegals Association monthly meeting.
Valerie and Shelly Broussard, Business Development Manager for Imprimis, attended the annual ANSERTEAM Conference in Virginia Beach, VA. Imprimis is a Member-Owner of ANSERTEAM, Alliance of National Staffing and Employment Resources. ANSERTEAM has recently been certified as a WBENC, the only certified alliance of its kind.
18th Annual Gardere MLK Oratory Competition
Valerie Freeman, CEO, recently sat on the panel of judges for the final round of the 18th Annual Gardere MLK Oratory Competition.
The Annual Program is designed by Gardere to recognize and encourage the writing and speaking skills of elementary students. It is also a celebration of cultural diversity and an opportunity to spotlight talented Dallas ISD students as they learn about Dr. King. This Program is presented in the spirit of learning and as a celebration of Dr. King’s legacy.
The competition was established in Dallas in 1993 to commemorate the life of Dr. King. In 2009, more than 250 students, representing 26 schools, participated in the competitions in Dallas and Houston.

Imprimis Group Announces the Winner of 2009 Holiday E-card Design Contest
Imprimis is pleased to sponsor the annual Girls Inc. Holiday E-Card contest. This contest benefits not only the girls who win, but also the organization with a generous contribution to their monthly programs. At Imprimis we encourage creativity and by sponsoring such events, we believe this will foster young girls to take the right steps in achieving their goals. Rising Star Scholarships, made possible by the DCCCD Foundation, enable any student who graduates from a Dallas County high school with a B-average or better and financial need to obtain a full two-year scholarship to any DCCCD college for any degree or certificate program.

Stellar Performance by the "Fab Five" Relay Team in the White Rock Marathon
Imprimis Group, Freeman+Leonard and BravoTECH joined forces to form a smoking fast relay team for the White Rock Marathon on December 13, 2009. The Team finished 33rd out of 200 teams with an amazing time of 4:26:47. Congratulations is extended to the team for a great job.
